Rod Kush is an American entrepreneur and former professional football player. He is best known for his ownership of the Omaha Beef, an indoor football team in the Indoor Football League. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska, and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he played football for the Cornhuskers. Kush began his professional football career in 1979, when he was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the fourth round of the NFL Draft. He played for the Bills for three seasons, before being traded to the Los Angeles Rams in 1982. He played for the Rams for two seasons, before retiring from the NFL in 1984. After his retirement from the NFL, Kush returned to Omaha and founded the Omaha Beef, an indoor football team in the Indoor Football League. He served as the team's owner and president until the team folded in 2019. Kush is also the founder and CEO of Rod Kush Enterprises, a real estate development and investment firm. He is also the founder of the Rod Kush Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides scholarships to students in the Omaha area. As of 2021, Rod Kush's net worth is estimated to be roughly $20 million.

Rod Kush (born December 29, 1956 in Omaha, Nebraska), is also known as "The Krusher". He is a former safety in the National Football League. He played for the Buffalo Bills and the Houston Oilers. He then decided to open a furniture store called "Rod Kush's Furniture", which went out of business in 2007. Later, Kush opened his new chain of furniture stores, "7 Day Furniture", with locations in both Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska. He previously resided in Gretna, Nebraska before moving to Ashland, Nebraska. His previous house in Gretna is currently a senior living home.
